4 Low Calorie Desserts To Bookmark


The weekend is almost here. Yay-ish! Which means, you’ll all be binging on some fabulous food {we hope our menu is on your agenda} and we’ve recently added this yummy Greek Yogurt to it- Epigamia- which makes for a perfect after meal, low calorie dessert as well! Available in 2 flavors {Strawberry and Minty Chat} these are delicious, is packed with goodness of real fruits and is a fabulous dessert base as well.

Before we get to the recipe bit, take a look at its benefits:

1.       An excellent source of protein without the added fat :Greek yogurt is a great way to boost your protein levels while avoiding heavy foods like meats. (meats are not bad and heavy – its how they are cooked that’s of concern) Contains proteins that can repair damage done by exercise.

2.  It’s a smart choice for low carb-dieters — containing half the amount of carbohydrates as compared to regularyogurt.

3.       It’s low in sodium as well as high in potassium and helps to maintain proper balance in the body. (Ideal post workout fuel!)

4.       The creamy rich texture enables it to be nutritiously dense and satisfying.  Add a banana or some berries for a nutrition-packed post workout snack.

5.       Yogurt is a source of Iodine, which helps to increase metabolism and promote weight loss.

6.       A solid recipe inclusion for delicious dips, smoothies or marinades (not to mention DIY face masks!)

7.       It will help keep your gut in check

8.       Vegetarians can rejoice with the protein source – contributing to their daily recommended intake.

9.       It’s lower in lactose as well as carbohydrates making it much easier to digest.

10.       When cooking sweet and savoury dishes; many people use it as a substitute for milk, sour cream and even icing for cupcakes.

Wow! Now, that’s a dessert base we can live with! Thick, creamy and full of flavor, this is beauty with brains of the food section. And, now- thanks for letting us divert a bit- to some delicious dessert recipes that start with Epigamia and ends up being a shocker of a sweet-treat.



Take a dessert glass and make alternate layers of Swiss Muesli, Epigamia Alphonso Greek Yogurt and Epigamia Strawberry Greek Yogurt.

Top with assorted cut fresh fruits

Drizzle a tablespoon of honey and serve chilled.



Crumble the granola into bite sized pieces.

Put half the Epigamia Natural Greek Yogurt at the bottom of the cup.

Add half the crumbled granola.

Heap the remaining yogurt on top.

Drizzle with a tablespoon of honey or maple syrup and serve chilled.


Tip: Use fruit flavored yogurt and fresh fruits to create more options.



Peel & chop apple into small bite sized cubes.

Add Epigamia Imlee Chutney Greek Yogurt and mix well.

Heap into a cup and serve chilled.



Place 6 crisp papdi on a plate.

Top with a spoonful of Epigamia Khatta Meetha Greek Yogurt.

Sprinkle fine sev and serve immediately.
